Touch Sensory Bin

What do you feel?
I gave the boys a sensory bin made up of house hold items mainly from the kitchen and garage.

You could put items in a box with holes just enough to reach in and touch but not be able to see and have your child describe the item - then have the other child find the item - maybe next year.

A tile sponge, bristle brush, sand paper, masking tape, wrench, wooden bowl, corn cob holders, mesh teething net, toy ball, tin can, tissue paper, plastic scraper, and a potato masher.

Here they are checking out the bin.

I asked Jumping Bean to describe everything that he touched - What does it feel like. - He said scratchy

Curious with the cold metal wrench and the rough scratch sand paper.

J.B. feeling all the holes in the potato masher.

Is tape sticky?

Curious putting the corn cob holders in the tin can.
